Cupid Loves Credit Cards
Satirizing our overly commercialized holiday of romance, the rounded, pudgy, and slightly cheesy lettering mimics the rosy cheeked and arrow shooting character of love-Cupid. While playful and fun, the illustration mocks a billion dollar holiday that becomes more business than romantic every year. As handmade cards and genuine gestures of love become a thing of the past, Cupid is sending out larger credit card bills and longer receipts in place of his traditional love dowsed arrows.
Note, “credit card” is set in the same font used on the very credit card that sits in your wallet.
