Licenses for Fonts
Goldfish Girl Creative offers four different types of licenses for fonts sold on this site. While they do not give anyone ownership of the purchased products, they do give permissions to use them as defined by each license.
Desktop License
This license allows you to use the purchased font for both personal AND commercial use! This could include anything from social medial posts to products and advertising.
This license is based on the number of users who have access to the font. One purchase equates to one license for one user.
- Install the font onto the purchasing individuals computer/laptop/electronics
- Employ the font for personal uses or commercial uses in which the individual would be able to turn a profit.
- Use the on physical or digital products, printed materials, advertising, social media, packaging, branding—as long as the font is not shared or transferred to others in the process
- Share the font files
- Install the font onto electronics that do not belong to the purchasing individual
- Embed the font files
- Use the font in its live form on websites, apps, games, or any other digital form. The font would need to be rasterized before being applied to these digital forms.
Webfont License
This license allows you to use the purchased font on and/or embedded in one or multiple websites for both personal AND commercial use.
This license covers one or multiple websites that receive up to 10K monthly views, as long as they are owned by the same person. If monthly page views exceed 10k then the license owner will need to purchase another license.
- Use the font on one or more websites owned by the licensee
- Embed the font on one or more websites owned by the licensee
- Use it for personal and/or commercial purposes
- Load the font onto a computer/laptop/desktop
- Use it for print or digital purposes, including physical or digital products, printed materials, advertising, social media, packaging, branding, etc.
E-Pub License
This license allows you to use the purchased font in one digital publication for personal and/or commercial use.
This license can be used/embedded in one eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF for personal and/or commercial use.
- Use/embed the purchased font into an ePublication like an eBook in a way that won’t allow another user to download and/or use it
- Use in a website, web app, digital app, or game

Licenses for Graphics
Goldfish Girl Creative offers two types of licenses for downloadable graphics and templates, that could have varying uses. While I don’t include our Personal Use License for downloadable art prints here, the Personal License below is very similar and covers all the same points. While they do not give anyone ownership of the purchased products, they do give permissions to use them as defined by each license.
Personal License
The license you want for personal and non-commercial purposes. Products purchased with this license cannot be used in any way that relates to a business or turning a profit. Click through the descriptions below for more information.
Anything in which no business, corporation, or individual is being promoted or turning a profit. If there is any financial gain involved directly or indirectly it does not fall under our definition or personal.
You can create as many digital and physical products as you would like, as long as they are not being sold. Make decals for your laptop, inspirational posters for your office, screensavers for your phone, etc. You are free to produce anything you can think up, as long as you are not selling or making a profit from them.
A lot of our products are great for sprucing up or enhancing social media pages and this license allows the use of purchased products on one personal account. No business accounts or accounts related to commercial use may use products with this license—you would need a commercial license for that.
If you have a site or blog for personal use that doesn’t aim to make any money (whether that be directly through sales or indirectly through advertising space and promotional content) products purchased with this license can be used. If the site or blog is intended to turn a profit, then you will need a commercial license.
None of our products purchased with a personal license can be used for any advertising purposes. Any products used for such purposes need to be purchased with a commercial license.
